RICKY'S River Bar and Restaurant in Noosa was a sea of glitz and bling yesterday when more than 120 guests dressed up to do lunch and their bit for charity.

The sell-out Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation lunch, organised by Rosemary Callaghan, Katrina Thorpe and Jo Johnston, raised thousands of dollars for the foundation which helps Sunshine Coast breast cancer patients.

"All the money we raise stays on the Sunshine Coast," Ms Callaghan said.

"The assistance it gives can be financial support or something as practical as helping families get meals on the table."

Seven Sunshine Coast personality Rosanna Natoli hosted the lunch with former Getaway star Ben Dark drawing the all-important raffle prizes.

Generous support from Sunshine Coast businesses enabled organisers to sell a limited number of raffle tickets for a $10,000 cash prize that will be drawn at the end of October.

Guests sat by the Noosa River and watched a fashion parade by Angels of Noosa as well as the foundation's launch of its DVD featuring women sharing their breast cancer journeys to help other patients.
